CPV code list: Excel, PDF and CSV downloads
The complete CPV list is public and free. The official files live on TED; the CSV exports below are the same data in the format most people actually want.
CSV exports, one language per file
All 9,454 codes of the main vocabulary, with the check digit and the hierarchy level, ready to open in Excel, LibreOffice or Google Sheets. UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, so accented and Cyrillic descriptions survive a double-click in Excel.

The official files on TED
The European Commission publishes the vocabulary itself through TED. Use these when you need the authoritative source rather than a convenience export:
Which version is current
The CPV in force is the 2008 vocabulary as revised in 2013. It has not been amended since, so a file dated 2013 is the current one and there is no newer list to look for. Downloads labelled with a recent year are that same revision, re-dated.
If you are migrating from the old 2003 vocabulary, TED also publishes 2003-to-2008 correspondence tables in English, French and German.
A note on what these files are for
The CSV exports are provided as a convenience and are generated directly from the official 2013 revision. For anything legally binding - a notice, a challenge, a contract - cite the regulation, not a spreadsheet from a website.
