What is collected
No account is needed. Matching itself runs in your browser: the code index is
downloaded once and searched locally, so nothing is sent while you are still typing.
Once you stop, the finished search term is sent to Google Analytics as a
search event, together with how many codes it matched and which language
you are reading in. Only the settled term is sent, once - not each letter.
If you open or share a link that already contains a search term - for example
/en?q=asphalt - that term is also part of the URL, and the URL is
recorded by Google Analytics like any other page address.
Page views are measured with Google Analytics 4 (property G-CL4N4X9130). No account, email address or payment detail is ever requested or stored by this site.
Advertising
The site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. Advertising and analytics storage are set to denied by default on every page load, and are only enabled if you consent through the consent banner. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the privacy settings link in the banner.
